Most customers pick up their rental car at the holiday destination right at the airport. This is a practical and straightforward option. The car rental locations are usually in the terminal building or can be reached using a free shuttle service.
When booking, you will be asked to provide your flight number. This will be forwarded to the on-site car rental company so that they are aware of any delays.
However, this is not a guarantee that the rental company will automatically reserve the vehicle for you until the flight arrives and beyond. Please note that if you think you will be delayed, you are responsible for notifying the rental company.
You can also return your rental car outside opening hours on request if your return flight departs very early or very late in the day.
