There are several factors that influence when the voucher is sent. For example, the time of dispatch depends on the availability of the rental car, receipt of payment or missing flight details.
1. The availability of the rental car
A voucher will only be sent if the availability of the rental car has been confirmed by the car rental company or the operator.
This is sometimes done automatically if the rental company states its availability directly. These rental cars are marked as "immediately available" vehicles on billiger-mietwagen.de. If you book such a car, the availability is confirmed in advance.
Tip: Especially for collections at short notice, choose a vehicle in the "immediately available" category if such offers are indicated.
With most operators, a voucher is only sent when the amount of the rental has been charged to the credit card specified or when the amount has been debited from your account.
As this only happens once a day or even at night with some rental companies, this may delay the delivery of the voucher – even if the rental has already been confirmed by the rental company. If the rental fee cannot be debited, we or the operator will inform you by email.
Tip: When booking, check your details for typing errors and transposed numbers so that your credit card can be charged. Please also note that you need to have a sufficient limit on your credit card at the time of booking and that your credit card must not have an international block. Otherwise operators whose head office is not in Germany may not be able to debit your card.
3. The flight details
Some rental companies require your flight details before confirming a booking with pick-up at an airport location. The voucher will therefore only be sent when this data is available. If this data is missing, we will inform you by email.
Tip: Enter your flight number directly in the field provided when booking.
